Harvest community residents turned out in force to celebrate the Christmas season at the inaugural Harvest Carols celebration on Saturday 17 December.
Residents enjoyed a range of entertainment including official judging of the Christmas lights competition.
More than 300 residents and guests flocked to the Sales and Information Centre, where they enjoyed carols and a musical performance by Thornton Public School band the Harvest Rock Ensemble.
Special guest Santa received a rousing welcome, delivering presents and posing for photos with guests young and old.
Harvest residents and display home builders took part in the Christmas lights competition, with three winners sharing $1,000 in prize money.
The 2017 Harvest Christmas Carols will be held in December with the date to be announced later in the year.
